COVID-19 Letter to Patients, April 21, 2020

Dear valued patient:

In an update to his previous Executive Order, Governor Greg Abbott has extended the requirement for all Texas-licensed dental professionals to postpone all procedures that are not medically necessary until midnight Friday, May 8, 2020.

In support of national efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice is taking the following steps to help assure your health and well-being and that of our community:

  • We are following directives from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to limit patient and staff exposure to this virus.
  • Your health, and the health of our dedicated staff, matters to us, so we will continue to suspend all non-emergency care until we resume routine care on Monday, May 11, 2020.
  • Patients will continue to be seen only for urgent and emergency dental needs. We will be following American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines on what constitutes dental emergent and urgent care.

Someone from our team will be contacting you regarding your routine and non-emergent care appointments.  We continue to be available to serve emergency patients throughout the practice at our Leon Springs location.  Once we resume routine care the other locations will become active.

The safety and well-being of our patients continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally and within our community and keep you up-to-date regarding our plans to reopen for business as usual.  If there are further extensions or modifications to the Executive Order that impact our care, we will provide additional updates. I urge you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We can be reached by phone at 210-681-5555 or by email to We will respond as soon as we can.

Thank you,

Your team at Lee Dental Centers
